Sullivan was devasted by a tornado on Friday night, March 31st. Over 200 homes were destroyed and many families lost everything. In response, Recovery Cafe Sullivan and the owners of Sweet Ps have opened their building for use as a resource center to provide food, clothing, toiletries, counseling and hot meals. We need your help to keep the center open all day every day.
Please consider signing up for a shift to provide help with sorting incoming donations, providing rides to those that need transportation to get to the center, or become a “cafe companion” to just sit with people and be a listening ear. If you are a counselor or therapist, please consider signing up to use your gifts to help.
Please go to 13 W Jackson on the square in Sullivan and check-in with the staff wearing purple Recovery Cafe Sullivan shirts or blue Next Step shirts.
